Rates & Fees

Bowers Integrative Psychiatry is a private-pay practice. This means the practice does not bill insurance companies directly for services. Choosing a private-pay model allows Dr. Bowers to spend more time with each patient, offer longer appointments, and provide the individualized, integrative care that shorter insurance-driven visits often do not allow. A superbill (detailed receipt) is provided after each appointment for patients who wish to submit a claim to their insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement.

  • 60 min: $400

    75 min: $500

    90 min: $600

    > 90 min: additional $100 per extra 15 min or part there-of

    Note: Adult intakes are typically 60-90 min, children and adolescent intakes are 90 min (this time is split between parents and child).

  • 25 min: $250

    50 min: $500

    Note: The length of the visit will be determined by individual needs and level of complexity

  • $800-$1600 + ($400/hour)

    Note: This includes the length of patient appointment, amount of time required to review previous records, amount of time spent coordinating with other clinicians, gathering collateral information, and amount of time needed to prepare documentation.

  • Letters to Schools, Employers, etc outside the visit: $300/hr

    Communication with Schools, Insurance, etc: $300/hr

    Collateral gathering from family members outside the visit: $300/hr

    Care coordination with other providers: $300/hr

    Records review outside of the visit: $300/hr

  • If a patient arrives late for their scheduled appointment, their visit may not be extended beyond the scheduled appointment time, and they will be charged the full rate for the visit; if extra time is needed to complete their appointment they will be charged at the rate of $100/15 min for intakes and $125/15 min for follow-ups.

    Arriving more than 10 min late for a scheduled appointment: the patient will need to reschedule their appointment, and will be charged as a no-show.

    No-Shows: the patient will be automatically charged the full rate for the visit.

    Cancellation more than 48 hours before a scheduled appointment : no charge

    Late Cancellation less than 48 hours before a scheduled appointment: the patient will be automatically charged the full rate for the visit.

  • Dr. Bowers is out-of-network for private insurance, Medicare and Medicaid.

    If you plan to submit an out-of-network claim to your insurance for reimbursement, a receipt for services rendered will be provided.

  • ACH transfer and all major credit cards are accepted.

    Payment will be automatically processed 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment.

    Cancellation fees, when applicable, will be automatically charged at the time of cancellation.
